About CARA

Cara Lamer is the owner and operator of CaraMia Cares, LLC, a collaboration of services and resources for aging adults in Colorado. Cara is a Licensed Practical Nurse and her experiences have lead her on her journey of establishing her QMAP Course. 

Her career has also provided a deep understanding in the fields of hospice, home health, long term care, personal care, assisted living, elder care advocacy, and management.  

As a CDPHE Approved Training Entity for Qualified Medication Administration Personnel for many years, she was able to develop her own course to train other healthcare professionals on this necessary qualification. 

Cara is also founder of the Colorado Chapter at Twilight Wish Foundation where they bring seniors' wishes to life and enrich the elderly community. 

Cara is committed in all she does to be an example of grace, empathy, and perseverance every day.
